Imports: Intelligent and Diverse Supply for the Domestic Market
With a clear understanding of domestic market needs, our company’s import operations were launched with the goal of supplying essential goods and enhancing the quality of the supply chain. The company’s long-standing experience in the trade and distribution of food products laid the foundation for a targeted entry into the import of strategic and high-demand goods.
Diversity of Imported Goods
In recent years, the company has actively imported a wide range of essential products, with a strong focus on expanding and diversifying its import portfolio.
Some of our imported items include:
•Legumes: lentils, chickpeas, beans, mung beans
•Nuts and Seeds: peanuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds
•Spices and Flavorings: cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, turmeric, cardamom, guar gum (E412)
•High-Consumption Food Products: rice, tea, shredded coconut, coffee
Research and Development in New Imports
Alongside our current products, the company is actively studying the market and gathering data on the import of goods such as meat, textiles, and paper. This initiative aims to further expand the scope of our supply, increase product variety, and meet the growing demands of the domestic market.
Focus on Regional and International Markets
Close monitoring of regional markets—particularly Central Asia and Russia—has drawn our attention to the unique advantages of these areas, including:
•High diversity of agricultural products
•Genetic similarity of products to local goods
•Low transportation costs with reasonable delivery times
•Competitive final prices
At the same time, we recognize certain challenges such as weak sorting processes, non-standard packaging, and inadequate storage conditions.
Establishment of Marjan Company in Russia
After a thorough evaluation of the opportunities and risks associated with imports from Russia, the company decided to establish Marjan Company and acquire and equip a factory in the city of Vologda. This strategic move strengthens our control over the supply chain and enhances the quality of imported goods.
